Operational planning of train and freight work has a key role in the management of the transportation process and is aimed at organizing the implementation of the transportation plan and the technical plan of operational work by railway divisions, taking into account the operational situation on the Belarusian railway and adjacent railway administrations that is developing for the planned period.
Innovations have been implemented in STP BCH 15.073-2017 «The procedure for operational planning of train and freight work of the Belarusian Railway, drawing up and monitoring the implementation of daily and shift plans for the activities of road branches and stations»:
- building an end-to-end operational planning procedure in the form of process-oriented technology in accordance with the approaches of modern quality management systems;
- inclusion of new facilities and operational planning tasks corresponding to the structure of transport services market participants;
- the use of information systems of the Belarusian railway in operational planning.
