The automated system for organizing car traffic is an integral part of the complex of information support for the transportation process being developed at the Belarusian Railway. The creation of an automated system is aimed at ensuring the efficiency of transport activities of carriers, infrastructure operators, rolling stock operators and other participants in the transportation process directly involved in the organization of car traffic to freight trains at various stages of transportation. The system includes the following automated subsystems that exist and are being developed at the Belarusian Railway:

• Formation of calculated car traffic at the railway landfill (Automated system «Dynamic map» introduced in 2009);
• Information support for the tasks of the railway formation plan (Automated system «Vedomosti PF» introduced in 2016);
• Plan for the formation of specialized routes (in terms of development);
• The plan of formation of freight trains on the calculated directions of the road (in the development plan);
• Plan for the formation of local trains in local work areas (in the development plan);
• Analysis of the plan for the formation of freight trains (in terms of development).

Automated system «Vedomosti PF»

The purpose of the system «Vedomosti PF»:

• storage of data on the technical means of the station as of the time of the introduction of a new formation plan;
• storage of the current plan for the formation of freight trains at the station;
• determination of the calculation standards of the formation plan;
• calculation of the main indicators of the implementation of the current plan for the formation of freight trains and the operational work of the station;
• calculation and analysis of train traffic processed at the station by type of communication.

Automated system «Dynamic map»

The system is designed to solve the following tasks:

• obtaining and processing data from the Information and Analytical Management Decision Support System for freight transportation on completed and planned car traffic, data on car traffic with violations of the formation plan and (or) the route;
• distribution of completed and planned car traffic on the railway network, taking into account the binding of car traffic correspondence to the destinations of technical stations, taking into account the unified network marking;
• aggregation of completed (taking into account wagons with violations of the route and the formation plan) and planned wagon flows according to established criteria;

• calculation of the volume of car traffic along the selected railway lines of the Belarusian Railway (taking into account cars with violations of the route and (or) the formation plan on the Belarusian railway);
• dynamic modeling of the car traffic flow at the network landfill, taking into account the planned volumes of transportation work;
• assessment of load distribution on technical stations;
• formation of dynamic maps of cargo and wagon flows at the landfill of the Belarusian Railway network (with graphical display);
• determination and analysis of car traffic with violations of the route and (or) the formation plan.
