The main directions of scientific research
- the study of the mechanism of concrete carbonization;
- the damage assessment of reinforced concrete elements and structures;
- the establishing the dependence of damage to concrete and steel reinforcement on the physico-chemical characteristics of concrete protective layer;
- the carbonization study depending on the compositions of concretes;
- the development of a model for concrete carbonization;
- the development of method for assessing the state of the protective properties of concrete in relation to steel reinforcement;
- the development of criteria for assessing the technical condition of reinforced concrete elements and structures, taking into account the carbonation of concrete;
- the development of a methodology for assessing and predicting the technical condition of reinforced concrete elements and structures, taking into account the carbonation of concrete.
Quantitative and qualitative composition
One Ph.D. of Engineering Sciences and one Research Officer in scientific research. Currently, 7 undergraduates are studying in the magistracy.
Key Scientific Results
The results of scientific developments were used in a detailed examination of more than 1000 objects of the national economy for an objective assessment of the technical condition of reinforced concrete elements and structures and the development of a set of measures for their restoration; in the preparation of students of the BelSUT, BNTU, BRU (Mogilev); in the BNTU in the preparation of specialists for the inspection of buildings and structures.
There are 6 Masters of Engineering sciences had been prepared.
More than 10 articles had been published in foreign editions.
