A Meeting with Representatives of the Railway Industry of Kazakhstan is Underway at BSUT

Today, March 26, a working meeting has begun at the Belarusian State University of Transport (BSUT) between the heads of the Railway Products and Services Certification Body and the Railway Transport Testing Center of BelSUT and a delegation from JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" (KTZ), as well as representatives of JSC "Stadler Minsk" and LLP "Stadler Kazakhstan".

The two-day visit program includes discussions on a wide range of issues, including developing joint solutions to ensure compliance with traffic safety requirements on railway transport, professional development of specialists, digitalization of the railway industry, and the parties' participation in the development of strategic program documents.


The meeting was attended by representatives of JSC "NC "KTZ" led by Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "NC KTZ" Akhmetzhanov Anuar Muratovich, representatives of the Locomotive Operations Department of LLP "KTZ-Cargo Transportation", representatives of JSC "Passenger Transportation" led by Executive Director for Production Akynbekov Askhat Bakytzhanovich, representatives of JSC "Stadler Minsk" led by Deputy Director - Chief Designer Kovetsky Alexey Valerievich, and the Head of the Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Quality Management Service - Chief Metrologist of the State Association "Belarusian Railway".
Belarusian State University of Transport was represented by Vice-Rector for Research A.A. Yerofeev, Vice-Rector V.V. Yermakov, Head of the BSUT Certification Body V.S. Zaychik, and representatives of the BSUT Railway Transport Testing Center led by Head V.V. Komissarov.



During the introductory part of the meeting, Vice-Rector for Research of BSUT Alexander Yerofeev presented the key areas of the university's activities, its scientific and technical potential, and its capabilities in the field of engineering personnel training.
On the first day of the working meeting, participants focused on analyzing the impact of design changes in rolling stock on existing certificates of conformity. Following the discussion, the parties reached preliminary decisions.
The parties discussed opportunities and formats for advanced training of specialists from JSC "NC KTZ" and its subsidiary structures using modern educational technologies.




A tour of the university's educational and research laboratories was organized for the guests, where they familiarized themselves with advanced technologies used in educational and scientific activities.




Of particular interest to the delegation was a visit to the Museum of History of BIIZhT-BelSUT, which carefully preserves the traditions of transport education.
