BSUT's cooperation with CVC Testing Technology Co.: a new stage in the field of testing railway products and evaluating services

On November 11, 2025, as part of the development of international cooperation and strategic partnership in the field of testing railway rolling stock components, the Belarusian State University of Transport (BSUT) received a delegation from the Chinese company Wei Kai Control and Measuring Technologies LLC (CVC Testing Technology Co., Ltd.).

The main purpose of the visit was to discuss joint initiatives aimed at improving the safety and reliability of the railway complex, as well as exchange experience in the field of certification and quality control of rolling stock components..

CVC Testing Technology Co., Ltd. - It is a reputable third-party organization that provides quality services, including basic research, standardization, testing, certification, inspection, metrology, proficiency testing, as well as related quality improvement services (laboratory maintenance, training, etc.).

• Chen Li  -  Head of the product line for railway transport of the Department of Electromechanics and Equipment.
• Wen Junyang - Deputy Head of the Marketing Department of the Electromechanics and Equipment Division.
• Liu Lu - Translator of the Guangdong Union for Scientific and Technical Cooperation with the CIS countries.

The Belarusian side was represented by N.N. Kazakov, Rector of BSUT, A.A. Yerofeyev, Vice-rector for Research, V.S. Zaichik, head of the BSUT certification body, V.V. Komissarov, Head of the Railway Transport Testing Center, and I.V. Prikhodko, Head of the Testing Department for Railway Transport and Infrastructure Facilities, Deputy Head of the BSUT Research and Development Center..

Since 2023, the Belarusian State University of Transport has been cooperating with CVC Testing Technology Co. in the field of scientific and technical cooperation aimed at developing scientific, innovative, research and educational activities of the university, providing mutual assistance in testing and certifying railway products and services. Cooperation between BSUT and Wei Kai Control and Measurement Technologies LLC began with the conclusion of a contract for the gratuitous use of property No. 91-IC-2024 dated 11.11.2024.

In December 2024, the BSUT Testing Center conducted the first product tests based on CVC Testing Technology Co. Currently, this practice continues to develop as part of a sustainable partnership, covering an increasingly wide range of railway rolling stock components and contributing to the implementation of international quality and safety standards..

Welcoming the guests, Nikolay Nikolaevich Kazakov, Rector of BSUT, stressed that this stage of joint work was made possible, among other things, thanks to our close cooperation with the Guangdong Union for Scientific and Technical Cooperation with the CIS countries, expressing gratitude to his representative for assistance in strengthening bilateral ties and creating a platform for joint scientific and educational projects with China..

Mr. Liu Bo admitted that he was pleased to pay a visit to our university, as he himself received higher education at a transport university and the railway sector is close to him. 

During the meeting, the scientific organizations of the two countries demonstrated their capabilities, tasks and areas of activity.

Alexander Alexandrovich Yerofeyev, Vice-Rector for Research, expressed positive emotions about the new test facilities presented by the Chinese company.

The head of the BSUT certification body, V.S. Zaichik, and the head of the railway transport testing center, V.V. Komissarov, spoke about the BSUT evaluates the conformity of products and services. The complex of services for testing railway rolling stock and components in the field of environmental safety, labor protection, energy consumption and conservation of fuel and energy resources was considered.
