BSUT develops cooperation with Uzbekistan


In order to expand cooperation with Uzbek educational institutions, a Forum of rectors of higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan was held on October 23, 2023 on the basis of BSUIR.

The Uzbek delegation was represented by rectors and directors of more than 10 educational institutions of various profiles. The delegation was headed by O.K.Abdurakhmanov, Head of the Development Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of Tashkent State Transport University.

The First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus A.G.Bakhanovich addressed the participants of the Forum with a welcoming speech, who noted in his speech the active development of Belarusian-Uzbek cooperation in the field of education, especially emphasizing the importance of work on joint educational programs on the example of the TashSTU-BNTU-BSUT-BGAA project.

After the discussion of the issues on the agenda of the Forum, the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between Belarusian and Uzbek institutions took place. BSUT signed an agreement with Namangan Civil Engineering Institute…

At the end of the signing ceremony, the head of the Uzbek delegation Odil Kalandarovich and the dean of the Faculty of International Educational Programs of TashSTU Alimjon Akhmadzhonovich Riskulov, on behalf of the Tashkent State Transport University, which is a long-standing and reliable partner of BSUT, congratulated our university on its anniversary and presented the first vice-rector Samodum Y.G. with a welcome address and a memorable gift that will take pride of place in the university museum.
