BSUT in Saransk


Representatives of the BSUT Railway Transport Testing Center (V.V. Komissarov, V.V. Makeev), at the invitation of the management of RM Rail Engineering JSC, visited Technopark-Mordovia on September 08, 2023.

During the visit, a meeting was held with Yu.V. Dolgov, Director for Technological Development of Technopark-Mordovia, and current and prospective joint projects for testing components for railway equipment were discussed: vibration, climatic and shock tests of objects weighing up to 1000 kg.

Specialists of the Center for Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials (CNN) spoke in detail about the goals and mission of the company, the results of their activities, and also expressed great interest in the implementation and financing of joint startups from the idea to the finished technology in demand by enterprises of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. CNN specialists suggested that BSUT sign a cooperation agreement and send a brief description of innovative ideas for analyzing commercial risks and determining possible financing.

The result of the visit to the Technopark was a meeting with the management of RM Rail Engineering. Our Testing Center has been cooperating with this company and the entire holding company since 2017. At the meeting, issues related to the organization of thermal engineering tests of an isothermal container were discussed in detail. The implementation of the project is extremely responsible and new for both the company and the BSUT Housing and Communal Services Center. We have agreed on possible cooperation in the implementation of tests of rolling stock and components. RM Rail Engineering specialists showed interest in organizing testing of fittings for containers with increased load capacity, developing criteria for the use of high-strength steels in car building, computational and experimental evaluation of the stress-strain state of cylindrical shells, etc.

The interest in the organization of special consulting of the company's specialists in the following areas was particularly noted: the construction of freight cars, the organization and conduct of strength and fatigue tests, materials science in car building.

The meetings held will serve to establish and further develop partnerships with the companies of Technopark-Mordovia.
