On September 15, 2020, students of the faculty for teaching foreign citizens from China and Turkmenistan, escorted by their curators, attended Library Night 2020 at the Gomel Regional Universal Library named after Lenin.
On September 10-11, 2020, the final of the VIII International Engineering Championship "CASE-IN", which had the theme "Technological modernization", took place in the format of a teleconference. "CASE-IN" is an international competition system for solving engineering cases for pupils, students and young professionals. The main goal of the Championship is to identify and support talented and promising students of specialized universities, as well as to assist them in obtaining practical and professional knowledge.
On September 5, 2020, at the meeting of Gomel City Executive Committee, the best organizations that achieved high socio-economic indicators for 2019 were awarded with including on the GOMEL CITY BOARD OF HONOUR.

On May 29, the final stage of the Russian contest for research and design works "Transport of the future", was held by RUSSIAN UNIVERSITY OF TRANSPORT RUT (MIIT) in the format of videoconferences on the Zoom platform.
