BSUT develops international cooperation


In November 2017, a cooperation Agreement was signed between BSUT and the Tashkent Institute for the Design, Construction and Management of Automobile Roads (TIDCMAR), which provides for the mutual exchange of publications, as well as an academic exchange of teachers and students.

In pursuance of the Agreement’s provisions, the TIDCMAR teachers participated in the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovative experience of ideological, educational and informational work at the university", and the BSUT teachers were published in the "TADI Bulletin", which is published in TIDCMAR.

In order to exchange experience, discuss plans for joint preparation of students, undergraduates and graduate students, conduct master classes and get acquainted with the activities of our university on May 21, 2019 guests from sunny Tashkent arrived in BSUT - Yuldasheva Saodat Arislanovna, the chief of "Economics and Organization of Automobile Road" branch, and Omonov Bakhodir Shomirzayevich, Associate Professor of "Transport Logistics" branch.

At the first very busy meeting day, our guests discussed with the University’s Rector Yu.I. Kulazhenko the main areas of work, coordinated with him their plans for cooperation with colleagues and conveyed greetings from the Rector of TIDCMAR Alimjon Akhmadzhanovich Riskulov.

After that, Yuldasheva S.A. met with the chief of "Economy of Transport" branch Lipatova O.V., and Omonov B.Sh. - with the chief of "Management of road transport and traffic" branch Azemsha S.A. Colleagues exchanged information about organization of the educational process in their departments and fruitfully worked to harmonize plans for the training of specialists.

Saodat Arislanovna spoke to the staff of "Economy of Transport" branch with a report on the education system in Uzbekistan.

The subject of a collegial discussion at "Design, construction and operation of transport facilities" branch were the curricula of full-time and correspondence courses, the methodological support of the department’s disciplines, the composition and structure of the educational and methodical complexes of disciplines, the module-rating system and its elements, features of the organization of the educational process and much more.

The guests attended the sessions of the 64th SSTC sections.

Together with the Department of International Relations of BSUT, on May 22, 2019, our guests took part in a meeting of Chinese universities delegation to conduct an international exam for the level of knowledge of the Chinese language HSK.

This event was attended by representatives of 47 Chinese universities. They were provided with information about the activities of the Confucius Institute for Science and Technology of the Belarusian National Technical University, with the assistance of which the Centre for the Study of Chinese Language and Culture will start its work at BSUT at September of this year.

During informal communication, after the official part of the event, new business contacts were established, including with Lanzhou Jiaotong University, which as a launching pad for cooperation offers students and graduates of our university to familiarize themselves with their scholarship programs (for more details, see the International Relations Department).

Gomel State Road Construction College was visited on May 23, 2019.

The further program of the Uzbek guests at our university is no less intense: the continuation of discussions of joint plans for training specialists, acquaintance with the library fund of the university, a meeting with the director of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of the Leaders and Specialists, and much more.

It remains to hope that our foreign colleagues will have time to get acquainted with the beautiful Gomel and its sights.
