BSUT at the exhibition of Belarusian education services “Fair of Knowledge” in Ashgabat

The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan, assisted in organizing the work of the delegation consisting of 21 universities’ representatives in the exhibition of Belarusian education services “Fair of Knowledge”, which was held from April 21 to April 23 in Ashgabat. The delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Sergei V. Rudy.

The work of the exhibition was solemnly opened on April 22 by a speech of representatives of the Ministries of Education of the Republic of Belarus and Turkmenistan, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan. The opening of the exhibition was marked by awarding diplomas to parents of students who excelled in their studies, sports and cultural activities. Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of BSUT Kazakov N.N. presented letters of appreciation to parents of 18 students of the faculty of foreign students.

The exhibition lasted two days, during which there was an active communication with applicants and their parents.

In parallel with the work of the exhibition Kazakov N.N. took part in the bilateral meeting in the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan (the meeting was led by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan Tabanyukhov O.M., Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan Zubritskaya T.N. and Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Rudy S. V.). This meeting allowed to discuss topical issues related to the recognition in Turkmenistan of higher education documents issued by Belarusian universities. As a result of the negotiations, all the uncertainties were removed - this means that all engineering, transport and construction specialties of the university remain in demand and will be recognized in Turkmenistan!

The exhibition was held at the Turkmen State Institute of Transport and Communications (TSITC), with which BSUT has established long-standing friendly relations. Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of TSITC Khodzhanepesov Kakabay Anasakhetovich in the framework of the exchange of experience organized a lecture among the students of the institute in the specialty “Transport Logistics” on the topic “Principles of Ensuring the Development of Regional Transport Systems”.

The interest of Turkmen applicants in the BSUT specialties (all promotional materials were distributed, a large number of questionnaires were filled in) allows us to expect that the number of foreign students of our university will be actively replenished in the next academic year.
