The high quality of education at the Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of the transport complex managers and specialists of the educational institution “Belarusian State University of Transport” is indicated by the fact that according to the previously established agreement between the Latvian Railway and the university administration from November 19, 2018 On December 07, 2018, three groups of specialists of the Latvian Railway Sector underwent advanced training on the topics: “Innovative technologies control of plant operation and evaluation of its production activity”; "Tonal track circuits and railway automation systems based on them"; "Digital communication networks of the railway based on the use of fibre-optic communication lines."

Listeners highly appreciated the professional level of teachers of the departments “Management of operational work and labour protection” and “Automatics, telemechanics and communication”, as evidenced by the thankful entries in the guestbook of the Institute.
